Together for a new future

School and agency on site

We run an agency and a school in the Philippines and in India. There, you will be perfectly prepared for your start in Germany in accordance with your wishes and the employer’s requirements.

Language school with boarding school

The language lessons in a modern school with an attached dormitory are conducted by trained German teachers (DAF) and native speakers. It comprehensively considers the elements of culture, mentality and communication and imparts knowledge about German traditions and manners in a German-speaking learning environment.

The Manila agency has been POEA accredited since 2020. The agency in India exists since 2022. With both of them we can organize targeted recruitment campaigns in the Philippines and in India and also process and prepare larger groups of applicants.

1. Nursing professions, labour market situation, further training in Germany

In an ageing society like Germany’s, there is a great need for nursing staff in almost all federal states. We place people with employers who stand out for their good working conditions and fair treatment of their employees. For the current labour market situation, you can find trends and news on “Make it in Germany”, the Federal Government’s portal for skilled workers from abroad, and at the Federal Employment Agency. The websites of the funding programme “Integration through Qualification (IQ)” as well as the German Professional Association of Nurses provide information on opportunities for education, training and further education as well as on professional and specialist associations.

2. Recognition process

The profession of nurse is one of the regulated professions. To apply for professional recognition in Germany, we require several documents from you that shows your personal and professional background and prove your qualifications. The exact list of these documents varies between the federal states. We will guide you through these processes specifically in relation to your future workplace.
You can find more information on “Anerkennung in Deutschland”, the Federal Government’s information portal on the recognition of foreign professional qualifications in Germany.
If direct recognition of your qualification is not possible, the option of a recognition measure can be offered to you: this measure is defined in a recognition notice. You can either attend an adaptation course or take a knowledge examination. We will discuss the best option for you with you and your future employer.

3. Integration support

In addition to the integration officers at your new employer, Germany has a network of migration and integration counselling services at federal, state and municipal level. For more information, contact the IQ network “Integration through Qualification” and the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

4. Language training

To be able to work in Germany as a care worker, you need proof of language skills that at least correspond to the EU reference framework of B1 level. Information on this can be found at TELC The European Language Certificates).
At our language school in Subic Bay (GigaLingua) or in Mumbai, we offer language training up to TELC B1/B2 care level in a boarding school concept. However, we also accept existing language certificates such as Goethe, ÖSD, TELC General or TELC B1/B2 Nursing. Language acquisition is of course free of charge for our applicants.
